At Punto Dollar Money Exchange, you can buy or sell the 13 most widely circulated currencies in the world: US dollar, euro, British pound, Canadian dollar, Australian dollar, Mexican peso, Argentine peso, Chilean peso, Brazilian real, Swiss franc, new sol, yuan, and yen.

Any person or family unit entering or leaving the country can carry up to ten thousand US dollars (USD 10,000) or its equivalent in any other currency, WITHOUT DECLARING it to the Customs Authority.

If you are an individual, you must have the following documents available when buying or selling currencies at our exchange offices:

1. You must have your identification document, whether it is a citizenship card, foreign ID, or identity card.
2. Non-resident foreigners in Colombian territory must present a valid passport.
3. Provide basic information of the person making the currency exchange: Names and surnames, City, phone number, and address of residence or stay, Economic activity (only for Colombian residents)
4. You must complete and sign the “Exchange Declaration” form.
5. Register the fingerprint on the form.

If you are a legal entity, you must have the following documents available when buying or selling currencies at our exchange offices:

1. You must have the original chamber of commerce certificate with an issuance date not older than 30 days.
2. Copy of the RUT (Tax ID).
3. Copy of the identification document of the legal representative.
4. Letter with the names and identification numbers of the people authorized by the company to buy and sell currencies.
